Writing your script
Choose a block type, write dialogue and stage directions, and keep your script moving.
Each part of your script has a block type. A Character block identifies the speaker, Dialogue contains their words, and Stage direction describes what happens on stage. The type also determines what happens when you press Enter or Tab.
You can choose a type before writing or change a block you have already written. The guides below follow a short exchange: Robin opens the door, speaks, adds a quiet remark, and Alex replies.
