Find your scripts
Use titles, search and sorting to return to the script you need.
The home screen is your script library. Each card shows a title, an optional subtitle, its structure and when it was last edited.
Return to a script
Section titled “Return to a script”- From the editor, use Go to home.
- Find the card for
The last door. - Click its title or Go to editor.
The card’s structure summary helps distinguish a short draft from a script with several acts and scenes. Its action menu contains rename, duplicate and delete.
Search by title or subtitle
Section titled “Search by title or subtitle”When your library has at least five scripts, Search scripts appears above the cards. Enter part of the title, such as door, or part of a subtitle.
Matching is not case-sensitive. The search filters script titles and subtitles; it does not search the dialogue inside them. Clear the search to show the whole library again.
For words within an open script, see Find text in your script.
Change the order
Section titled “Change the order”With at least five scripts, use Sort scripts:
| Choice | Order |
|---|---|
| Newest first | Most recently changed scripts first |
| Title A–Z | Alphabetical by title |
Newest first is the default. Editing an older script can bring it to the top; the order follows the last change, rather than its creation date.
Why are search and sorting missing?
Section titled “Why are search and sorting missing?”For fewer than five scripts, the home screen shows all cards in Newest first order and leaves the search and sort controls out. You can open a card directly.
